We work with guesthouses, apartment rental agencies and homestay providers. While we do not partner with specific hotels, we can of course help you find and book one.
Our role is to help you choose the accommodation that best matches your budget, preferences and travel plans.
For short stays of less than one month, we generally recommend hotels or homestays.
Guesthouses
Enjoy a warm, homey atmosphere and get to meet people from all over the world, Japanese people included. Make friends and build networks!
The cheapest option.
Our recommendation: best for young adults and for stay of more than a month.
Apartments
You will enjoy your privacy and get to experince the routine of daily life in Japan as if you were a resident!
Studios can be cheap but the lease may not be for short stays.
Our recommendation: best for stays of over 3 months and for people over 30 years old.
Experience local life by staying with welcoming hosts.
The most costly option though it includes the meals.
